Distillery
Things are moving at the distillery, nothing like a prius to give you scale.August 2017
Time running short before the first freeze, we are on a quest to get the mines closed up before the cold weather has the chance to damage the mines. Freezing weather is what we are worried about.. But we have a plan and are sticking to it.
Reinforced Mines
This is what the mines looked like after concrete reinforcement. Using mine water, as far as I know has never really been attempted on any scale for a distillery.
Inner Building at Distillery
Now that the Distillery building was basically complete, the real work starts, building the inner building, which took a lot more than I thought it would. We would eventually find some really good local help.Springhouse

Looks really small until you realize the concrete trucks are NOT toys.. and there are 2 of them side by side here, which was insane..

Concrete poured, forms not even off yet, we begin building the top for the SpringHouse. This is what has to be done to protect these mines.
Stairs Suck!
Stairs are supposed to be relatively easy, but working with a span of more than 16 ft is challenging at best.. something was a bit off on my measurements.. oops, rip it apart and start over.. which I did..
SAFE!
We got the water closed up! Now we have one less thing to worry about! The stairs are up, door going on, things look good!
I bet you thought we were done!
